Karthi signs a new movie with Kamal's blockbuster hit director

Karthi is one of the few heroes who can handle both commercial mass hero roles as well meaningful ones like 'Paruthi Veeran', 'Madras', 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' and 'Kadaikutty Singam'. He is currently starring in an action adventure film 'Dev' directed by Rajath Ravishankar and costarring Karthik, Rakul Preet and Ramya Krishnan which is nearing completion.
Reliable sources are stating that Karthi has signed a brand new movie to be directed by Jeethu Joseph who helmed the blockbuster hits 'Drishyam' starring Mohan Lal and its Tamil remake 'Papanasam' with Kamal Haasan in the lead. It is said to be a super exciting subject and character for Karthi and the project will be bankrolled by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. More details on this one is expected soon.
