Karthi fights against allowing dangerous foods in India, requests fans to join

Top Tamil hero Karthi commands one of the biggest fan following and it is not far from truth to say that he is closer to zero haters than most others. Off screen much like his elder brother Suriya, he too is into philanthropic activities and runs the Uzhavan foundation that aims for the upliftment of impoverished farmers.

Genetically Modified food if allowed to come into the market is said to have much adverse effect on the people who consume it due to toxicity. It could diminish immunity, could be cancerous, affect reproduction and could even be life threatening accoding to researches all over the globe.
On the proffessional front Karthi has completed shooting for Mani Ratnam's epic two part historical 'Ponniyin Selvan' and 'Viruman' produced by Suriya. He is currently shooting for 'Sardar' directed by P.S.Mithran in which he plays dual roles.
