After completing director Mani Ratnam's 'Kaatru Veliyidai', actor Karthi will start shooting for the film directed by H.Vinoth of 'Sathuranga Vettai' fame. Yesterday we had reported that the film has been titled as 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru'. Now the news has been officially confirmed and we also get the complete details about this exciting project.
'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' will be a cop story with Karthi playing the titular character Theeran. Rakul Preet Singh will play the female lead. The story, screenplay and dialogues have been written by the director H.Vinoth.
Karthi will be playing a cop after six year gap. The last he was seen as a cop in the 2011 blockbuster 'Siruthai'.
Sathya of 'Maya' fame will be the cinematographer. T.Sivanantheeswaran will handle the Editing. K.Kathir will be the Art Director. Dhileep Subbarayan will choreogprah the stunt sequences.
The music director and the actors playing other important roles are apparently yet to be finalised.
The film will be produced by S.R.Prakash Babu and S.R.Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures banner. This will be their second film with Karthi after the super hit multiple genre entertainer 'Kaashmora'.
The shooting of 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' is expected to kick off from the first week of January 2017
