Karthi reunites with PS Mithran for 'Sardar 2'

'Sardar 2' is the title of the sequel to 'Sardar'. PS Mithran is once again back in the director's seat. With 'Sardar' becoming a hit in both Telugu and Tamil, the sequel was only to be expected.
After maintaining suspense for weeks, producer S Lakshman Kumar of Prince Pictures has made the sequel official. Sardar’s son Vijay Prakash (both characters played by Karthi) is offered to join the RAW as an agent. After he joins the agency, his first mission is embarked in Cambodia, director PS Mithran said, talking about the premise of the film. So, after countries like China, it is now going to be Cambodia.
With the cinematography by George C Williams, 'Sardar 2' will have music by GV Prakash Kumar.
As for 'Sardar', it has got Raashi Khanna in the role of a lawyer, while Rajisha Vijayan is the second heroine. Laila plays an activist. Karthi is also going to be seen in two other sequels: 'Ponniyin Selvan-II' and 'Kaithi 2'.
