One of the biggest genuine super hits of 2018 is Karthi's 'Kadaikutty Singam' directed by Pandiraj and produced by Suriya with an ensemble cast that includes, Sayyeshaa, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Arthana Binu, Viji Chandrasekhar, Banupriya, Sathyaraj, Soori and Ponvannan among others.  The success meet of the film was held today where the entire cast and crew were present.

Speaking at the 'Kadaikutty Singam' success meet actress Priya Bhavani Shankar stated that the film showed bulls as a sibling of the hero and the entire household weeps when they are killed by the villains. She has questioned that when Tamil farmers take so much care on their cattle why the corporate entities such as PETA try to paint it as cruelty.

Director Pandiraj after thanking his entire cast and crew slammed Menaka Gandhi and PETA for forcing a one and a half minute cut of the thrilling rekla race featured in the film.  He has stated that being a farmer the family would not even eat at a function as they have to rush back to the farm to ensure that the animals have food and drink.  He recalled a recent example of one of his relatives a young girl died because her pet lamb fell into a well and was bleating in pain the entire night.  Pandiraj challenged that no PETA member can even lead a cow for a few feet leave alone tend to them.  He accused the members of the foriegn organization of feasting on chicken, mutton and beef and then formulating rules.
