Actor Karthi was last seen on screen in the adventurous romantic entertainer Dev directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar, and co-starring Rakul Preet Singh. After the movie, the actor is currently occupied with a number of exciting projects.

The latest news making rounds is that director Gaurav Narayanan, who had last directed Ippadai Vellum starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Manjima Mohan, has recently met Karthi and has narrated a story which the actor has liked reportedly.

It is to be seen if Karthi will give his nod to the script. Gaurav is known for directing Thoonga Nagaram with Vemal and Sigaram Thodu with Vikram Prabhu. On the other hand Karthi is acting in Bakkiyaraj Kannan's romantic entertainer and the post production works of his Kaithi with Lokesh Kanagaraj is in progress.
