Karthik Naren questions Gautham Menon again

Gautham Menon hailed as one of the best Tamil directors of the current generation has had a tough time the past few years as his films have been entangled in financial controversies and have seen undue delays. Only recently a deal has been struck between him and Ishari Velan's Vels Films International which has acquired his 'Enai Noki Paayum Thotta' and the release date has been announced for November 29th. In return, GVM is helming 'Joshua' an action thriller starring Ishari Ganesh's nephew Varun which is also nearing completion.

Gautham Menon obviously a relieved man gave the updates on the above-mentioned films and also added on his Twitter page "And The Season doesn’t end without this film that’s really close to my heart & is hopefully state of the art. Tremendous& positive experience working with THE Chiyaan Vikram! 'Dhruva Natchitham' in post-production over the next 60 days and heading towards release. John will meet you soon."

Young director Karthik Naren posted an image of his movie 'Naragasooran' and raised the question "Some clarity on when this is gonna see the light of the day will be really helpful sir. And yes, this film is very very close to my heart!" It maybe recalled that after the tremendous success of 'Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru' GVM signed Karthik Naren to helm 'Naragasooran' starring Arvind Swamy, Sundeep Kishan, Indrajith and Shriya Saran.

Even though Karthik Naren completed 'Naragasooran' in record time the project has been caught in a financial mess and has been stalled for the past two years. The controversy created a rift between GVM and Karthik Naren with the former trolling the latter on social media which made Arvind Swamy take up for the youngster. Now once again the issue is being raised and it is unknown whether a solution can be found at least now that GVM's other projects are being revived.
