Karthik Subbaraj is one director who hasn’t failed to startle us each time his film releases; be it ‘Pizza’, ‘Jigarthanda’ or ‘Iraivi’, Karthik has proved his mettle as a capable director and extraordinary storyteller. Obviously, his next venture with Prabhu Deva became the talk of the town with one interesting revelation: that it’s going to be a silent film.

With the film slated to hit the screens coming April 13, the scales in the anticipation meter is just rising consistently. Recently, Prabhu Deva himself has revealed that there would be a lot of new elements in the movie and that too with no dialogues, the film is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

Director Karthik Subbaraj reportedly thought that it would be difficult to focus on music for a silent film with doubts of giving full justice to the composer. But he reveals that music composer Mithoon changed his perception. Karthik also disclosed another intriguing detail that even though love was an underlying facet in the story, he din’t want it dominate in a thriller script.

The film's ensemble cast also comprises of Sananth Reddy, Deepak Paramesh, remya Nambeesan, Indhuja and Anish Padman as well.

In addition to this, music composer Mithoon has stated that he has extensively used EDM in the core music also ggiving it a romantic flavour. Karthik's home banner Stone Bench Films is bankrolling this project. So, fingers crossed until April 13!
