Popular Tamil heroine moves to small screen

Yesteryear heroine Radha's elder daughter Karthika got a dream debut in Kollywood with the blockbuster 'Ko' in 2011. She eventually acted in a few Telugu films and director Bharathiraja's 'Annakodi'. Some of the films in which she has acted as heroine remain unreleased for long and the list includes 'Vaa Deal' in which she has played the lead role with Arun Vijay.
Now reports suggest that Karthika will be acting as the female lead in a Hindi serial that will be aired on a popular North Indian satellite channel. The serial will have the story written by VIjayendra Prasad who has written the story for many super hit films including the mega blockbuster 'Baahubali' and its sequel which is currently in the making.
The Hindi soap is going to be directed by Goldie Behl and actor Rajneesh will play the male lead in this serial.
