'Karthikeya 2': New release date announced

'Karthikeya 2', starring Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead, has been postponed by a day. As per the makers, the mystical thriller will be hitting the screens on August 13 (Saturday).
Speaking at an event on Wednesday, Nikhil said that the decision has been taken in the larger interest of everyone in the box-office fray to avoid a clash (with 'Macherla Niyojakavargam'). This is a consensual decision. The idea is to accommodate everyone. We want all films to become a success. We want the audience to watch all films, the 'SPY' and '18 Pages' actor said.
The film, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, was recently certified with zero cuts. UA is its rating. Starring Anupam Kher and Anupama Parameswaran in key roles, the film's Release Trailer will be out on August 6.
Also starring Aditya Menon, KS Sridhar, Srinivas Reddy, Satya, Praveen and Harsha Chemudu, 'Karthikeya 2' is produced by Abhishek Aggarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad. Karthik Ghattamaneni is its cinematographer, while Kaala Bhairava is its music director.
