Karthikeya sequel ready to roll

Actor Nikhil's astounding hit Karthikeya is going to have a sequel soon. The news has been revealed by the actor during his recent interaction with the media.Director Chandoo Mondeti, who helmed the super-natural thriller, will be directing the sequel, too. The film revolves around the concept of snake hypnotization, has raked in about Rs 10 cr share at the box office thus becoming the highest grosser in Nikhil's career.

The script for the sequel is locked and the film will hit the floors soon after Nikhil wraps up VI Anand's film and Chandoo completes working for Premam Telugu remake with Naga Chaitanya.

The sequel will begin with the same scene where Karthikeya ends. The cast and crew are yet to be finalised. Meanwhile, Nikhil's action-comedy Sankarabharanam, a remake of Bollywood film Phas Gaya Re Obama is set to hit the screens on December 4.
