Karthi’s 29th Film Titled ‘Marshal’; Goes on Floors with Grand Launch

After captivating audiences with the rural drama Sathyam Sundaram, actor Karthi is back with his 29th film — an intriguing new project titled ‘Marshal’, directed by Tamizh, who earned acclaim for the hard-hitting Taanakkaran. The film is being produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under the prestigious Dream Warrior Pictures, with Ishan Saksena joining as co-producer.

The makers unveiled a powerful first-look poster today, showcasing Karthi with folded hands against a dramatic seascape — notably keeping his face hidden, which has sparked intrigue and speculation about his role. The film also commenced shooting today with a traditional pooja ceremony, officially marking the beginning of production.

Kalyani Priyadarshan has been roped in as the female lead, while the film features a stellar supporting cast including Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Lal, John Kokken, Easwari Rao, and Murali Sharma, promising a gripping cinematic experience.

Mounted on a lavish scale, Marshal boasts high production values and a top-tier technical team. Acclaimed cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan is handling the visuals, with music by the rising sensation Sai Abhyankar. Philomin Raj joins as editor, and Arun Venjaramoodu takes charge of production design.
