Actor Karthi had a release this Diwali with Kaithi directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. Kaithi released on October 25 alongsiue Vijay's Bigil directed by Atlee and has been getting good reviews and increasing shows and audiencesupport.

Joining the list of celebrities who have praised Kaithi is 90s action hero Sarathkumar, who tweeted after watching the movie "Kaithii an extraordinary film, congratulations to each and everyone who have been a part of this meaningful well made well narrated gripping film of emotion mixed with directorial brilliance bravo Lokesh and well done Karthi".

Sarathkumar was last seen on screen in few Telugu movies, and is now acting in movies like Vaanam Kottatum produced by Maniratnam, Pirandhaal Parasakthi co-starring Radhika and Varalaxmi, and few Malayalam and Telugu movies.
