Karu Palaniappan's sensational tweet on Ambedkar statue damage!

In Vedaranyam, the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar was destroyed, after arguments between two groups. Following this, there were riots in the area, and lot of protests were happening in Vedaranyam. What started off as a road accident, turned into a caste based fight.
Public properties were destroyed, and a new statue was installed in the same location, but still there has been unrest in the area. Lot of political leaders have condemned the damaging of Ambedkar statue, and protests are happening in various places in the state.
Following this, director and actor, Karu Palaniappan has tweeted on this issue. He has tweeted that only when the statue of great leaders are damaged, the younger generation will get to understand that Periyar and Ambedkar are big names who thought about the development of the society.
