Karunakaran's offer to short filmmakers

Actor Karunakaran is today the most sought after character artist in Kollywood and he is also acting in the lead role in a few films. Before making it big in the Silverscreen, Karunakaran was a famous face in the short film circuit. He has acted in an array of short films including the ones directed by Karthick Subbaraj,Nalan Kumarasamy and others who are among the celebrated new age directors of Kollywood.

As a person who would not forget his past, Karunakaran has expressed his interest to act in short films again. It was not done with the archaic Kollywood celebrity rhetoric of 'I still wish to do it but I am not finding time.' Instead, , Karuna has specified the dates when he will be available and asked interested short filmmakers to approach him for any role, in his microblogging site.
