Karunas has been frequenting the news for all the wrong reasons recently. His comments on the Chief Minister of the state got the MLA cum actor in trouble. While he has sought bail for the same, the actor was handcuffed for protesting against the IPL as well.

Karunas who has been released from both cases on bail was out of jail yesterday. “I will face even a thousand other cases. Truth prevailed and justice has won,” he said. However, the aco0r has to report to the Triplicane police station for the next 30 days.
