'Karuppampatti' release postponed

Initially, the Ajamal-Aparna Bajpai starrer was designated to hit the screens on 15th March. However, in the last minute, director Prabhu Raja Chozhan has reconsidered his decision, and has finalized that the film will be released a week later, i.e. on 22nd March. This is because he does not want to compete with stalwart releases like 'Paradesi', directed by Bala and 'Vathikuchi', produced by Fox Star International and AR Murugadoss, which are lined up for release on the 15th of March.
Prabhu Raja Chozhan is a former associate of director Shankar. The music for this film is composed by Kannan of 'Tamizh Padam' fame. 'Karuppampatti' is the story of two different youngsters, belonging to different periods - 1950 and 2013.
