'Katamarayudu' inched closer to 'Khaidi No. 150'

On day one, 'Katamarayudu' inched closer to 'Khaidi No. 150', but couldn't better it. While the latter got a share of Rs. 23.28 Cr, the Pawan Kalyan-starrer got a share of Rs. 23.05 Cr.

It's analyzed that, had the film was permitted to have benefit shows in Hyderabad, it might have surpassed Chiranjeevi's film released during Sankranthi season.

In Nizam, Pawan has proved himself to be the Nizam Rayudu, with his film mopping up a share of Rs. 5 Cr. In the Godavari districts, the mass entertainer mopped up a share of Rs. 6 Cr (approx).
