Vishal's Kathakali in Pongal race

Hero Vishal has made a name for himself in Telugu film industry with hits like Pandem Kodi, Pogaru, Bharani, Indrudu, Pooja and Jayasurya. The lanky lad of Kollywood is once again coming to test waters this Pongal with a new movie titled Kathakali. Regina Cassandra and Catherine Tresa are playing the love interests of Vishal in this action entertainer which is poised for January 14 release.
Made under Vishal Film Factory banner, the film has music by Hiphop Tamizha. Pandiaraj wields the megaphone for this film also featuring Nasser, Soori, Shatru, Gopi and Madhusudhan Rao in important roles.
Vishal exuded confidence about the film's success and said,"Kathakali is laced with all commercial elements and I believe it's going to be a perfect entertainer for this Pongal. I hope this film turns out to be another hit in my career."
Besides Kathakali, Balakrishna starrer Dictator, Nagarjuna's Soggade Chinni Nayana and Sharwanand's rom-com Express Raja are fighting it out for box office supremacy this Pongal.
