Actor Kathir has been known for his interesting choice of movies, right from his first Tamil movie Madha Yaanai Koottam. He went on to act in Kirumi, Vikram Vedha, Sathru, and scored big with the critically acclaimed blockbuster Pariyerum Perumal directed by Mari Selvaraj.

The actor who is currently starring in a number of projects like sports movies Jada and Vijay's next movie and now has been signed to play the lead role in an interesting new movie. Directed by Prabakaran, this new movie has been titled Sarbath.

The first look posters of Sarbath were released today and features Kathir and comedian Soori along with him, and this is the first time they are acting together. Sarbath is produced by 7 Screen Studio and Viacom 18 studios, and the film has music by Ajeesh.
