Actor Kathir who had acted in acclaimed movies like Madha Yaanai Koottam, Kirumi and Sigai was also a part of commercially successful films like Vikram Vedha and earned fame acting in the award winning Pariyerum Perumal directed by Mari Selvaraj, released last year.

Kathir was recently seen as a football player turned coach in Vijay's Bigil directed by Atlee and now again he is returning with football. Kathir's next movie Jada will have him playing a football player and now the movie produced by The Poet Studios is ready for release.

Jada has been censored U/A and has been announced to release worldwide on December 6. The movie is directed by newcomer Kumaran and has Roshini as the female lead and also stars Kishore and Yogi Babu in important roles. Jada has music by Sam CS.
