As the Hurricane Harvey in the Pacific coast is shaking up the Texas lives with storms and heavy rainfall, celebrities are making sure to send out their words to the victims who have heavily suffered from the floods.

The pop sensation asked and urged the viewers to contribute as much as they can to raise money to send for relief to the victims in Aransas Pass, Texas.

She was noted saying “We`re praying for your safety in the days to come and stay with you as you rebuild, because we`re all in this together,” she said at the award show as the audience applauded her move to use the platform to do something right for the common people.

The Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, previously made a statement and revealed that the storm is far from over. “People need to know, this is not a one, two-day event and done,”

“Even though it may seem like it will get better, this is a four or five-day event starting tomorrow evening going through Monday or Tuesday.” He finished his statement.

It`s to be noted that the rescue teams and help-lines are readily available for the locals and are doing everything they can lessen the severity of the chaotic situation.
