Actor Kavin's new movie 'Star' with director Elan of 'Pyaar Prema Kaadhal' fame was officially announced a few days ago. The maker is collaborating again with Yuvan Shankar Raja in his second film. Rise East Entertainment and Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra are jointly bankrolling this film.

Today, the little maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja is celebrating his 44th birthday and the team launched a special promo of Star marking this occasion. The 2-minute video shows an ambitious man chasing his dreams with Kavin's monologue of a Bharathiyar poem. Looks like Kavin will be seen as an aspiring actor in this upcoming flick. The promo ends with a soul-stirring song in Yuvan's voice.

The technical team comprises Ezhil Arasu K as the DOP, Vinoth Rajkumar N as the art director and Pradeep E Ragav as the editor. Fans are excited for this upcoming flick. Reports suggest that the team is in talks with Ivana and Divya Bharathi for the female lead role in Star.
