Kavin who caught the eye of the television audiences after playing Vettaiyan in 'Saravanan Meenatchi' went on to win hearts globally with his stint on 'Bigg Boss 3' hosted by Kamal Haasan. He was touted to win the title but he opted to walkout with an assured sum to help his family out of financial woes.

Kavin has posted a photograph posing with Monisha Nelson the wife of director Nelson Dilipkumar whom he considers his elder sister and has captioned it "Happy porandha naal kaa..I'll pray to god to take care of that golden heart which take cares of everyone.. :)"

Nelson Dilipkumar who tasted immense success with his debut movie 'Kolamavu Kokila' starring Nayanthara and Yogi Babu is currently in post production for his next 'Doctor' starring Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Arul Mohan. Nelson is reportedly directing the much coveted 'Thalapathy 65' starring Vijay.

Kavin is also awaiting the release of his new movie 'Lift' costarring Amritha Ayer and he is also in talks to star in several other projects in the new year.
