Kavya Madhavan on cloud nine

As her latest release Gaddama, directed by Kamal, has started receiving rave reviews and critical acclaim, together with better Box Office collections, its heroine Kavya Madhavan is on clod nine. The movie is also cited as welcome relief from the regular male centric plots. In this sensational comeback after marriage, Kavya Madhavan has also been able to weave a hit with a single women character as the protagonist. Following the likes of Urvashi and Manju Warrier (Kannezhuthy Pottum Thottu), ÂGaddama will thus promote Kavya as an actress who can shoulder a movie on her won. It will be also of interest to note that this is the first time in her career of 15 years that she has got a title character, which could bring out the acting proves and finesse of Kavya.
Kavya Madhavan's next big release will be 'Christian Brothers' in which she will become the heroine to Mohanlal. Another movie for which she will be eagerly waiting is 'Bhakthajanangalude Shradhakku', the first commercial venture from art house director Priyanandhanan. The movie will have her as Sumangala Devi, a house wife who suddenly turned into human god in her locality.
The movie based on a story by Renjith will have a big star cast including Irshad, Kalabhavan Mani, Saadhiq, Suraj Venjarmoodu and Salimkumar.
