Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has on Friday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 Cr to the family of Col Bikumalla Santosh Babu, the martyred braveheart who hails from Suryapet. He recently lost his life during the June 15-16 stand-off between our Army and the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
The CM also said that the martyr's wife Santoshi will be given a Group-1 job and a house plot.
KCR also announced Rs 10 lakh each to the families of 19 other soldiers who attained Veerghati in the clash.
