Superstar Krishna has issued a statement to congratulate K Chandrasekhar Rao, whose leadership has delivered a humongous victory for TRS in the Assembly elections in Telangana.

"It's great to retain power with a thumping majority after 4.5 years of rule. KCR garu's schemes have done immense good to the people of the State. That's why all sections have given him this mandate. My hearty congratulations to KCR garu upon becoming the Chief Minister for the second term," Krishna has said.

Krishna's superstar-son, Mahesh Babu, and KCR's son, KTR, maintain cordial relations. When 'Bharat Ane Nenu' released in April, KTR held a public interaction with the 'Maharshi' actor regarding socio-political issues.
