KCR's important Cabinet meet on this date

Telangana Chief Minister KCR is scheduled to hold a Cabinet meeting tomorrow (Saturday) at 3 pm. As per an official statement, the Cabinet will look into the issue of extending lockdown in the State. By the time this meeting happens, the CMs of all States might complete a video conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Cabinet meeting will also discuss other important issues, such as the economic outlook for the State, strategizing for the future, welfare of the poor, welfare of migrant workers from other States working in Telangana, procurement of farm produce, losses suffered by farmers due to rains, etc. will also be looked into.

An announcement regarding the extension of the lockdown will likely come in the evening. There is this speculation that KCR is favouring a 2-week extension.
