The shooting of 'Thalapathy 63' is set to begin from Monday, January 21st in Chennai with a pooja that will happen on Sunday the 20th. The mega project is directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment. Lead pair Vijay and Nayanthara are joined by the high profile cast of Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek with sixteen new girls including Robo Shankar's daughter playing sportspersons.

The latest buzz that is gaining momentum in Kollywood is that Keerthy Suresh is likely to join 'Thalapathy 63' as the parallel heroine. If this materializes then it will be her third collaboration with Vijay after 'Bhairavaa' and 'Sarkar'. Aathmika of 'Meesaiya Murukku' fame is also said to be in talks for an important role.
