Kerala: 1-year-old baby miraculously escapes wild animals

Imagine this. A 1-year-old infant accidentally falls off from a moving jeep because its parents were negligent. This happens in the middle of a forest area where wild animals have a field day usually. What makes this area all the more dangerous is that it's a tourist hub that sees heavy vehicular movement. The infant, in a miracle of sorts, escapes all the inherent dangers of the situation and comes out unharmed, thanks to its luck and the efforts of the forest officials in the area.
This shocking incident has come to light in Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerala. The child's parents realized that the infant was missing only after travelling 50 kms. By that time, the forest officials accidentally spotted the infant, who was crawling right in the middle of the jungle. They took the infant to a hospital and got treated it for a minor head injury due to the accident.
The baby was handed over to the parents by the police the same night.
