Kerala reports 1212 COVID-19 cases

On Wednesday, Kerala reported 1,212 COVID-19 positive cases. 880 patients were cured and five deaths were reported on Wednesday, CM Pinarayi Vijayan said. Of the new COVID-19 cases, 1068 persons developed the disease through contact including 45 cases without an identified source of infection.

51 persons who tested positive had returned from abroad and 64 returned from other states. 28 health workers also developed the disease in the last 24 hours. With this total COVID-19 cases reported in the state reached 38,144 and the official death toll to 125.
