Even as the number of Coronavirus positive cases are mounting in India, there are numerous cases of recovery from the deadly virus as well and one among them is the recent recovery of an elderly couple in Kerala.
Thomas, 93, and his wife Mariamma, 88, have recovered from Covid-19 infection after a 20-day treatment at the Government Medical College Hospital in Kottayam. After two negative results of their swab samples they are set to be discharged soon.
Thomas and Mariamma's son returned from Italy and they are from Ranni, Pathanamthitta. This is said to be an achievement in medical sciences as the couple were suffering from health issues like cardiac problems, diabetes and hypertension.
