"I drink beer. Why should I be afraid to openly speak about it?"

‘Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha’ fame actress is proving to be different not just in terms of acting but also in her views about social life. Recently, Veena had openly stated that she would drink a beer and that she doesn't feel bad about telling it in open. The star asked why she should be afraid of revealing her love for beer? The star said thi in an interview with Mathrubhum's Star and Style magazine in the February issue.
“Why should I be afraid of revealing my drinking habit? Is it such a heinous crime?. When I am intoxicated with beer, I will talk a lot. I had revealed the matter in an interview earlier. I drink beer. Most of the youngsters also have the habit of drinking beer. No one is harmed with this habit and it is a personal choice,” said Veena.
After the actress openly spoke about her drinking habit, the actress has been facing cyber attacks and trolls. Responding to the trolls, Veena said, “People are making fun of me with trolls by misinterpreting my statements. They should review their act whether it is right or wrong.
She also added that she would definitely accept good glamorous roles and that she is open to experimenting different kinds of characters in cinema. There are no restrictions on acting. If I get a good glamorous role, I am ready to do it. I am not adamant about doing particular roles only. I prefer only good script. I believe that an artist must have an open mind. I am ready to do anything for a good character in a good script,” revealed the actress.
