"The next big storm is here," Ram Charan tweeted, plugging the trailer for 'KGF 2'. At a little less than three minutes, the trailer is a package of raw, uninhibited, unrestrained intensity.

It takes time for the macabre lead man, played by Yash, to step in but once he comes in, the hyper-aggressive protagonist takes over. "Violence, violence, violence. I don't like. I avoid. But violence likes me. I can't avoid," he thunders, threateningly warning his enemies that they will be stamped out of existence at the earliest possible juncture.

The trailer takes off on a conversational note. What happened after Garuda was killed, a female character asks. Prakash Raj's verbose character says that the story can't be taken forward with ink. "It bays for blood," he says, announcing the bloody saga. Raveena Tandon is a powerful woman who says 'Ghus ke marenge', a phrase popularized by PM Modi after the February 2019 strikes on Pakistan.

Rao Ramesh's character enters the scene and changes the tone of the trailer. "He is the biggest criminal. He is the biggest businessman. This is the biggest national issue," he screams. Above all, Sanjay Dutt's Adheera is there to snatch back Kolar Gold Fields even as Raveena's character is supremely confident about getting her way with Yash's Rocky.

There is swag, there is violence, there is extraordinary violence, there is extra extraordinary violence... Can you wait till April 14 for the film to hit the screens? Can we not be sure that writer-director Prashanth Neel is once again creating magic? Can we not be sure that producer Vijay Kiragandur is going to deliver an explosive pan-India hit? Can we afford to miss action director Anbariv's talent and Ravi Basrur's rousing BGM?

The film, also featuring Srinidhi Shetty, Malvika Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, Ayyappa P. Sharma, Eshwari Rao, Archana Jois, Ramachandra Raju and others, has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda.
