Actress Khushbu recently shared her thoughts on cinema in a latest interview. She stated, "Female-centric films are rarely blockbusters. I will not take back my words or say that times have changed. We must accept the truth.
Movies like 'Aranmanai 4' and 'Mookuthi Amman 2' will be rare. Even today, theaters primarily showcase films starring leading male actors like mass heroes and superstars. It will take time for theaters to open up equally for everyone."
Speaking about the OTT platform, she said, "Women are excelling on OTT. Seeing actresses like Dimple Kapadia in Bollywood makes me happy. They are playing unique roles.
OTT platforms provide women with more opportunities. Films and series like 'Darlings,' 'City of Dreams,' 'Dabba Cartel,' and 'Maharani' offer female actors roles that they may not get on the big screen."
