Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai

The sprawling East Coast Road or the Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai, stretching till Mahabalipuram, is considered a paradise for city slickers.

Not just a spanking good road, it has amusement parks, beach shores providing young couples a spirit of joy and enthusiasm.

Keeping this mind, director S S Stanley has churned his movie titled Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai with all youthfulness and romance laced with some suspense. It stars Srikanth and Bhavana in the lead roles.

After playing the lead role in the controversial movie Uyir, Srikanth's Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai revolves round an incident happening in the sprawling East Coast Road.

That was the strong reason for the title, said Stanley, 'I am optimistic of extending my good run with Srikanth. That incident binds the hero and heroine together with the plot unraveling and finishing at the same point.'

It may be recalled that Srikanth and Stanley have worked together in April Madhathil and Mercury Pookal before. 'We vibe well and it is our strong point. It would be reflected in this movie', says Stanley.

'When you do a movie with the same actor without a gap, the script has to be totally different. The idea is to project Srikanth totally different from what I did in my earlier movie', he adds

After rigorous workouts Srikanth has cut down on his body mass and sports a new look for the movie. He plays a youth working in a petrol station in ECR. Giving him able company would be Bhavana. Also, yesteryear hero Suresh makes a comeback playing a baddie in the movie.

Produced by R S Anthanan for Venthirai Kalam, the movie will hit the theaters this September.
