KL Rahul’s ‘personal leave’ request to BCCI - Wedding bells around the corner?

It is well-known that cricketer KL Rahul is in love with the Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty. Recent reports stated that the couple, who has been dating for three years, is now planning to get married. Athiya's father and veteran actor Suniel Shetty earlier confirmed the wedding buzz was true.
According to the latest report by Times of India, KL Rahul is all set to tie the knot with his girlfriend Athiya Shetty between January and March 2023, after Team India's Bangladesh tour. Sources tell us that the wicket keeper-batter had requested for 'personal leave', which was approved by the BCCI, reportedly.
It is said that the wedding is expected to be held at his to-be father-in-law’s luxury bungalow Jahaan in Khandala. Buzz is that the powerful batter’s parents had visited Mumbai some weeks ago to meet the Shetty family, and even saw the new house the couple will share.
