'Kobbari Matta', starring Burning Star Sampoornesh Babu, will release on August 10 (Saturday). It seeks to cash in on Sunday, the Bakrid holiday and the Independence Day season.

The makers have said that the comedy is all set to open to houseful shows in the Telugu States. As per them, advance bookings have kickstarted remarkably amid high buzz.

It seems Sampoo's non-stop, 3-minute-long monologue (which has secured millions of views) has contributed to the film's popularity in a big way.

A parodic family entertainer, it has been directed by Rupak Ronaldson and written (story, screenplay and dialogues) by Steven Shankar. This film sees Sampoo in an expectedly quirky role. Music is by Kamran.
