Kochadaiyaan to release in April 2013

After being postponed to January 2013, Rajinikanth's much-awaited magnum opus has further been deferred to April of that year. The Rs. 125 cr. film is currently in post-production.

Sarathkumar, Aadi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Jackie Shroff and Nassar are part of the cast. Directed by Soundarya R. Ashwin, the film is written by KS Ravi Kumar, who is currently assisting Soundarya in completing her task.

This period film has cinematography by Rajiv Menon. Titled as Vikrama Simha in Telugu, it will see theatrical release in two other Indian languages (Hindi, Malayalam), besides English and Japanese.
