Kodambakkam
After a dismal show in Puthiya Geethai a couple of years back, director Jaganji is back with his next Kodambakkam.
It is a movie about the travails of hundreds of aspiring directors living in every corner of Kodambakkam, considered the hub of Kollywood.
Nanda, Diya and Tejashree play pivotal roles in the movie.
Nanda plays an assistant director in the movie.
On his role, Nanda says, 'it was challenging to play an assistant director's role in the movie. I just imitated my director Jaganji for the character'.
The supporting cast includes Manivannan, Muthukalai,Ramesh Kanna, Manobala. Director Cheran, Jaganji's mentor plays a cameo in the movie.
Music director Sirpy has come out with some inspiring numbers and the highlight is a song rendered by pop singer Ceylon Manohar known for the Surangani number and Lajjavathiye fame Jassy Gift chipping in with another.
It is a movie which details about the problems in the film industry in a positive manner and I hope it would get the recognition of the masses, says Jaganji.
The subject is indeed is inspired. Hope the treatment too is.
