'Kodiveeran' directed by Muthaiya is touted to be an action family drama with Sasikumar playing the lead role in the movie. This is the second time that Sasikumar is joining hands with the director after their first outing in 'Kutti Puli'.
The film which is being bankrolled by Sasikumar himself completed filming on August 18. The film also has an ensemble cast of Mahima Nambiar, Sanusha, Vidharth, Bala Saravana in other pivotal roles. It is also reported that Poorna will be playing a negative role for the very first time and that she will be going bald for the role.
The music for the film has been scored by N.R. Raghunathan and Kathir has handled the camera work for the film. 'Kodiveeran' is slated to hit the screens this Diwali on November 30.
