HipHop Tamizha

Multi-talented music composerHipHop Tamizha has written, directed and acted in a documentary to expose the international corporate conspiracy behind the calls to ban Jallikattu. It is not an overstatement to say that many youngsters across Tamil Nadu are inspired by this initiative and started supporting Jallikattu.

G.V.Prakash Kumar

Actor-music director G.V.Prakash has also been vehemently voicing against the ban in his Twitter page. He has also composed a song 'Kombu Vecha Singamada' with lyricist-singer Arunraja Kamaraj which will be released soon as his creative contribution for conducting Jallikattu.

Arunraja Kamaraj

Arunraja Kamaraj, one of the young and promising lyricist and singers of Tamil cinema has colloborated with GVP for the 'Kombu Vecha Singamada', a song video to support Jallikattu. He has penned the lyrics for this song that will be released very soon. The duo have announced that the entire revenue from this song will be donated to Tamil Nadu Farmers who ares struggling to make ends meet in this drought situation.

Nivetha Pethuraj

The Pro-Jallikattu bandwagon has some female participants too. Young heroine Nivetha Pethuraj has kept poster that says 'We want Jallikattu' as her profile picture in Twitter.' It is to be noted that the 'Oru Naal Koothu' actor hails from Madurai, the district considered where Jallikattu will be held in a grand manner every year during the Pongal season.

Silambarasan

Actor Silambarasan is always known for open talk. It is not a surprise that he came up with a detailed press release on why should we support and preserve Jallikattu. In his statement he had noted. "When there are many issues that seeks the intervention of the administrative and judicial systems on priority basis, why this issue of abolishing Jallikattu is on the fore front i wonder. Jallikattu is not only a game that portrays the bravery of Tamil People; it also protects our Indian cattle breeds too. But due to the ban of Supreme Court, Jallikattuwas not happening for the past two years. We abide by the regulations of this country as a citizen of this country, but never at the cost of our cultural identity."

Suriya

Versatile actor Suriya is also in favour of conducting Jallikattu. He said many bull breeds have become extinct and wants to lift the ban on Jallikattu to save the remaining bulls. He said Jallikattu has to be conducted with regulations as it is the identity of the rich Tamil culture.

Kamal Haasan

Vijayakanth

The Captain kept his promise and launched an agitation near Alanganallur Vaadi Vasal in Madurai against the Jallikattu ban on the 9th of January. Speaking to a large crowd the DMDK leader said that he himself had participated in jallikattu in his younger days and has raised bulls as children at home. He said it is time to rescue Tamil culture and identity and also demanded a ban on PETA.

Dhanush

Multi-talented Nationala ward winning actor Dhanush also rendered open support to Jallikattu. in his latest tweet. He said "'Jallikattu' is an intergral element of the voice and identity of Tamilians".
