'Kondaa' Trailer: RGV shows knack for intense, edgy narration

'Kondaa' is the biopic of Konda Murali and Konda Surekha, who rose as rebels and later became political leaders in Telangana. Thrigun (formerly known as Adith Arun) is essaying the male lead. Irra Mor is essaying the female lead.

Its trailer, which was released today, shows director Ram Gopal Varma's passion for narrating intense and edgy dramas. The rise of Murali and Surekha from student leaders to the ranks of rebels and popular politicians has been narrated with care and knack. We see RGV's voice-over referencing Karl Marx. Extreme situations give rise to extreme individuals is mentioned. RGV has described the movie as the story of an ultra-dynamic couple.

There is a romantic track between Murali and Surekha, besides emotional scenes involving the likes of Prudhviraj, LB Sriram and Tulasi.

With music by DSR and cinematography by Joshi Malharbhat, the film has 'Jabardasth' Ramprasad in the role of Murali's friend. Edited by Manish Thakur, the film has dialogues by Barath Kumar. Production Design is by Agasthya Company, while action choreography is by B Srikanth.
