Films that are made for entertainment generate revenue or slip away from box office. But offbeat films always carry some purpose and worked as mirror to the society.

Look at the 1963 shot play of Late Parvathavani Haggada Kone' one finds the deep concern of director Dayal Padmanabhan and producer Umesh Banakar.

A well written dialogue of Naveen Krishna also has wonderful performance from him. The concern the convict opens up at the climax. That concern has social relevance to this day. The issue of child rape' is the point that brings boiling moment to the protagonist played by Naveen Krishna.

It is only when the old man in drunken mood says that he has arrested modesty of 17 young girls and he is even ready to rape his own daughter – the protagonist decide to end such evils by killing him from a knife. For such a crime (According to convict it is Nyayayutha crime' – Justified crime) he is hanged in the film.

It is the real life happening and so timely subject in Haggada Kone' that is hitting silver screen on 19th of this month.
