'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurm' scored big even in B and C towns ticket sales. USA contributions threw in a big surprise too. 2 new prints added for dubai.

With Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum collections in B and C towns and overseas market getting bigger and bigger, the 6 films old young actor Rana and Director Krish is sure to add a huge fan following in the newer markets. According to trade reports KVJ held exceedingly well on the opening weekend in India and Overseas and the business jumped across all major markets.

The figures for both the advance box office gross and the number of tickets sold have beaten the Krish's previous best films Vedam and Gamyam. The producer of the film Rajeev said the AP Weekend share alone touched 4.25 Cr.

The demand for more shows in the B and C centers came in as a big surprise for exhibitors, the movie opened on Friday with tickets sold out for the entire weekend worldwide.

With overseas market contributing to ticket sales in a big way we won’t be surprised if collections crosses the Rs. 45Cr mark and move even further, trade analysts and exhibitors say.

According to trade analysts and exhibitors KVJ scored big even in city like Ahmedabad. The 1st day first shows it had 105 audiences and 2nd day saw 120 audiences in screens capacity of 146. Earlier films from Tollywood could touch only a maximum of 60 marks in these screens.

In the USA alone the 1st day collection is more than 1st week collection of the last few Tollywood releases. According to a prominent trade analyst Telugu film Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum collections in USA on Fri $ 83,840, Sat $ 85,678. Total: $ 169,518 [Rs 92 lacs] from 30 locations.

Director Krish is delighted. He said, he broke the B and C center shackle this time with ticket sales of KVJ touching new high unlike his earlier releases. With this film he feels that he found the right story to touch the chord with audience in smaller towns. The number of shows is on the rise since the movie got a fantastic opening coupled with good audience reviews, added Krish.

Hero Rana, who plays the role of B.Tech Babu and a reluctant theater actor, takes on the powerful mining mafia in this highly entertaining action film. His action and dialogue delivery has been one of the most talked about in the latest BO blockbuster. His co-star Nayantara, plays the role of documentary film maker.

The other key attractions of the film are Mani Shankar's music, Gnanasekhar's cinematography, Sai Madhav Burra's dialogues skillfully choreographed fights by fepsi vijayan, Venkatesh-Sameera and Hazel Keech's item numbers.
