Watch Kristen Stewart's amazing performance in the trailer of Princess Diana's biopic 'Spencer'!

'Spencer' is an upcoming biographical drama directed by two-time Oscar award nominee Pablo Larraín. The film stars Kristen Stewart and Jack Farthing as Diana and Charles, respectively. This biopic is based on the later years of the marriage of Diana, Princess of Wales and Charles, Prince of Wales.

The makers unveiled the trailer of Spencer a few days ago. The movie will showcase the tragic days of Princess Diana after her royal marriage has grown cold. The story mainly focuses on the time when the Princess decides to end her marriage to Charles during her Christmas holidays with the royal family at Sandringham House in Norfolk in 1991.

The onscreen depiction will be a slightly fictionalised version of the weekend that sealed her fate. The team says, SPENCER is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days. The trailer showcases the sad and grief-stricken dynast amid the royal and glossy environment, who is stuck in an unhappy relationship. The orchestral soundtrack adds more dimension to the tone.

Kristen Stewart puts up a breathtaking performance as Princess Diana. She showcases the anxious feel and panic attacks that Diana had very precisely. Nobody could have pulled off the role of an insecure royal wife like Kristen did. The two-minute-long featurette of Spencer had a lot of dialogues that depict her struggles. The cuts also give us a peek at the princess' eating disorder and the bond with her children.

The official trailer promises that the film will deliver a beautiful character arc to the lovely Diana. Spencer is penned by Steven Knight, who earlier gained an appreciation for the crime drama series Peaky Blinders. Apart from the lead cast, Timothy Spall, Sean Harris, and Sally Hawkins also starring in pivotal roles. The biopic will hit the screens on November 5.
