Kristen Stewart stuns as Princess Diana in the teaser trailer of the royal biopic ‘Spencer’!

'Spencer' is an upcoming biographical drama directed by two-time Oscar award nominee Pablo Larraín. This film is based on the later years of the marriage of Diana, Princess of Wales and Charles, Prince of Wales, the film stars Kristen Stewart and Jack Farthing as Diana and Charles, respectively. The latest news is that the first teaser trailer of Spencer was unveiled by the makers yesterday.

The movie will showcase the tragic life of Princess Diana after she enters the royal marriage life. Spencer mainly focuses on the time when Diana, Princess of Wales decides to end her marriage to Charles, Prince of Wales during her Christmas holidays with the royal family at Sandringham House in Norfolk in 1991. The onscreen depiction will be a slightly fictionalised version of the weekend that sealed her fate.

The teaser was gloomy and engaging although it was so royal and classy. The minute-long featurette does not give away many dialogues or events but teases the audience with the premise that had been set. In the video, Princess Diana is seen battling an eating disorder while her marriage with Prince Charles is falling apart. Spencer teaser depicts the loneliness and tragedy that the royal princess went through. Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana astounded the audience and is the highlight of the teaser trailer.

Spencer is written by Steven Knight, who had an earlier acclaimed appreciation for various movies and series’ including Dirty Pretty Things, Locke, and Peaky Blinders. Apart from the lead cast, Timothy Spall, Sean Harris, and Sally Hawkins also starring in important roles in this biopic. Spencer will have its world premiere at the 78th Venice International Film Festival on 3 September 2021 and is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on 5 November 2021.
