The Background
Presented by Filmkraft Productions (India) Pvt.Ltd., Rakesh Roshan's magnum opus - the third instalment of Krrish series - has been grabbing headlines since its inception. The film has brilliant star cast - including Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi, Kangana Ranaut and Rekha - in lead roles.
`Krrish 3' promises to be India's stunning answer to the west who were till now harping on their expertise on VFX. The trailer of `Krrish 3' confirms Indian standards which is in no way below the Hollywood mark and the biggest achievement of `Krrish 3' is that all the special effects is done here in India with no import from the west. Portraying as many as three strikingly different looks, Hrithik also had to even modulate his voice in three different styles. Priyanka plays Priya, wife of Krishna (younger version of Hrithik), Vivek plays the villain Kaal and Kangana too plays a negative role as Kaya. Nazia Shaikh, a well known face in the fashion industry features in the role of Cheetah girl in `Krrish 3'.
While Rajesh Roshan has handled the music, background score is by Salim-Sulaiman and Baylon Fonseca is the Sound Designer. The film boasts of Hollywood crew including Tony Ching Siu Tung (Hongkong) for action along with Sham Kaushal, Mike Stringer (best known for Lord of the Rings trilogy) has done the makeup and prosthetics.
A first-of-its-kind tie-up for Bollywood, Tech giant Apple signed up with this latest superhero franchise - for its content (including music, video and apps) to be available in a new dedicated area on their online store, iTunes. In fact, the movie is among its biggest Diwali promotions to run internationally - including the US and UK.
The Storyline
After defeating the villainous Dr. Siddhant Arya, and bringing his father Rohit back from the dead, Krrish continued fighting against evil and saving innocent lives. Now Krishna is living a happily married life with Priya, while Rohit is using his scientific brilliance to benefit society. And Krrish is everyone's favourite superhero saviour.
Unknown to them, a dark force is growing in another part of the world. Kaal, an evil genius, is selfishly misusing his powers to spread fear, death and destruction. And he is being assisted by an army of very dangerous beings, which he has created himself. Not long after Kaal's plans are put into action, both Rohit and Krrish find themselves faced with a crisis of epic proportions, which only they can resolve, together. But when they finally cross paths with Kaal and his army, neither of them is prepared for what lies ahead.
Kaal not only brings the world to the brink of disaster, he also puts the strength and love of Krishna and his family to the test. And Krrish has to somehow find the power within to face an unbeatable foe. The greatest battle between good and evil begins...This Diwali, in cinemas only.
