In an unexpected turn of events, Baroda cricket team captain Krunal Pandya has left the bio-bubble for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in Vadodara after his father Himanshu Pandya passed away.
Krunal Pandya has left the bubble so that he can be with his family and hence won't be playing for Baroda in the T20 tournament. Baroda Cricket Association CEO Shishir Hattangadi revealed that Krunal Pandya has left the bubble and that the association mourns the loss of Hardik and Krunal.
Krunal Pandya has played three matches in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq tournament, and took four wickets. Krunal and Hardik Pandya’s father, Himanshu Pandya, passed away earlier today due to a cardiac arrest.
