'Kuselan' storms theaters, fans jubilant

August 1 is finally here and thousands of superstar Rajinikanth fans have been swarming theaters all across Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka to get a glimpse of the matinee idol play a superstar on film.

Ecstatic celebrations have been witnessed in what can be called the headquarters of Rajini fans, Albert Theater. Expectations were soaring sky high with die hard fans working themselves to a frenzy and the result was mayhem and excitement. The traditional milk abhishekam, bursting of crackers, distribution of sweets and frenetic dancing was witnessed. Most fans were heaping praises on the superstar's ability at the top of their voices. Rajini's introduction that happens after 40 minutes of the film was truly awesome. Most fans settled down as though they had finished a session at the gym after running around, dancing, throwing graffiti during the 'Cinema….Cinema' song. Incidentally the song showcases Rajini fans in a glorious fashion.

It was almost like a mirror effect. Events on screen and off screen.

Extravagant celebrations were witness all across Tamilnadu as well. Though Rajinikanth is not on screen throughout as in other films of his, most fans are pretty happy at the way the film has turned out.

The climax has a weeping Rajinikanth….the scenes really moved the audiences.

Rajinikanth weeping on screen….sounds like a miracle doesn't it.
